The rest of the settings are at their defaults, and I check "Contacts" and "Calendar" before syncing.

Ah thanks, but i was able to solve my problems... i wasnt wrong at the sync settings but failed at the user ACLs... So my user was admin to the egw and had access to everything, but for sync the ACL for syncml had to be set additonally.

would you share your input in the sync create dialog? I've spent some time on research but didn't dig up anything useful for that...

So my user was admin to the egw and had access to everything, but for sync the ACL for syncml had to be set additonally.
