another updated entry ( a long one too )
Hi,
haven't update for a while huh? now where do i start?
well I went back to indo from 30 nov - 12 jan, it was awesome.
i stay in jkt from 30 nov-12 dec
13-16 dec in KL shop shop shop :) the things I like best is that I found few bargains in MNG (they go on sale earlier too compares to indo) I bought 2 jackets that cost around 500,000 rupiah each (after discount)but when I went back to indo I checked on MNG stores in Indo it still a full price items which cost around 1,100,000 so yay huge saving there! plus loves the VNC which cost much cheaper there compares to the shop in sydney or even in indo! the clumsy thing is that we didn't plan when we want to go to KL until last minute I booked the tickets for me and mom on friday our flight scheduled is on the following tuesday, but yess clumsy me I didn't booked the hotel yet! I thought I could booked it on monday morning but guess what? during that time the asean summit was on @KL so when i try to get a room on monday morning every hotel around bukit bintang area (the shopping places) were fully booked! the travel agent suggests us that we just fly there and find hotels straight away so we did, but the sad thing is the only room available is the premier room so we have to spend a bit money there..
then I stay in jkt until the end of december
I got the 35 days tickets from syd so i was suppose to go back to sydney on the 5th but then I just been informed around early dec that my cousin's wedding party is on the 7th jan, so I have to extend my tickets and i have to paid 260 USD just to extend it for few days!!! (what a ripped off) oh well.. it was worth it though :) I was having a good time in surabaya during my final days in indo.
on january 2nd-10th i was in surabaya. well i was supposed to go back to sydney on the 9th, since i was planning to leave sby on the 8th (my cousin's wedding party was on the 7th). Instead I left sby on the 10th, coz I was having a reunion with my friends in sby who used to study in sydney and they all insist that I have to stay back until the 11th coz they all wants to go to one of my friend's villa in Trawas and stay there for a night during the public holiday on the 9th. (most of them already work so they can only goes up there during holiday or weekends).
The villa was huge not surprise though since the villa are own by the Kapal Api group company (my friend's mom was one of the owner). It consists of few cottages. The cottage that we stayed at have 7 bedroom (there were 12 of us). and the game room is at the top floor. we spend most of the time playing all sorts of differents cards game lol. it was fun though :) for dinner we went to Ayam Sri which was so delicious, sadly we only can stay there for a day the following afternoon we went back to sby just before lunch since I got to catch a flight back to jkt @ 6pm that day. I just can't wait to go back to sby, now i regret it that I spend so much time in jkt and less in sby lol.
oh well next time will be better :)
