Fun Weekend

I had a nice weekend this time around.

Friday- Chris, George, Mootz, Liz, Julie, and Myself went to see the Davinchi Code. It was good to see them, haha even if the confines of theater seating aren't conducive to conversation, but the movie was definitely not worth it. Ready for Teddy's quick review? Not particularly worthwhile and unintentionally funny. I spent the majority of the movie wondering when the two leads were going to get it on (the bastardity of the woman of the lineage of Jesus Christ having dirty premarital sex with Tom Hanks is one to be relished), only to be disappointed in the end. Stand out moments include the sudden nun smack down, the bits of old school history interspersed were a treat, as well a very crafty cripple that I only know as magneto.

Afterwards, I met up with Piccolo at my place in New Brunswick and we drank and watched Entourage. I think my night ended at around 5am, which is quite a feat without any chemical help I suppose. Whatever happened to just getting tired?

Anywho my vagrant girl, Casey, came back at around 2pm that Saturday day. This was to be the last day of her staying here which actually made me feel a bit of sadness. I had gotten used to having her around and just talking with someone during times when I'd just be chilling out alone. To save myself from the inevitable questions, I wasn't nailing her or anything, she was just a friend who I appreciated is all. They say that the nice guys never win, and that is probably true if my 20 years of misadventures are anything to be learned from, but I can't help but be who I am. That night, I drove back down to Sarah's place for a little get together.

I wont really go into it, but will instead describe it with a series of unrelated phrases and sentences. Got drunk. Piccolo, Sarah, Bonano, Boyle, Skiba, Kaitlin, and others were present. Skiba, Boyle, and Bonano drove off in the middle of the night, leaving me to drive Piccolo home when I woke up the next morning... I thought they were going to Wendy's. I was drunk and I'm pretty sure I was making oddly inappropriate advances towards Sarah. Some people will never learn. I clocked Bonano kinda hard in the face. I have a bunch of pictures, some of me dangerously close to Adam, tons of Sarah's breasts, and a few of her little brother who I got fairly sassy with. I drunkly called and yelled at several peoples... They may include but are not limited Matt Marchesano and Danielle Gallagher. Sorry to the both of yous, I was not my normal self.

The next day, I woke up and drove Piccolo home before taking and lovely nap for several hours. Somehow, I end up going with Melanie and two of her friends to a Say Anything concert in Lancaster, PA. The Pistolitas opened up, followed by a brief act by The Starting Line. It was at some club called Cafe Chameleon. The show was pretty awesome. I 'moshed', I believe its called, for a short period of time (White people are decidedly crazy) and actually had a bit of fun. I think I'm going with them to an improv show next Saturday in red bank. I think I may actually have to groom myself for this event, as one of Melanie's friends is actually extremely cute and only about 10 or so times smarter than myself. No need to name names, all involved parties know who they are. On a side note, I have purchased a Say Anything t-shirt.

Many miles and hours of driving, plus one brake-light ticket later, I find myself back at Rutgers .. I arrived at around 2:00 am. Its late as balls, and I've got work tomorrow morning at 9. Past time to get some sleep.

Just a final closing thought... Professor Safari (my kind and mysterious benefactor/professor) returns from his world-spanning sabbatical this friday. I expect him to bring back his usual amount of vitriol and anger with him, with just an added touch of third-world hate for seasoning. I can't wait... goodnite
