Okay, these pictures are just too cool not to share.
My sister Nancy in Las Vegas sent them to me. There was apparently a huge lightning storm on Monday, July 17th.
This is the Allure Tower where Nancy works bracketed by the lightning strike.
This is a transformer exploding following a strike.
The Sky Condo Project's tower crane taking a direct hit.
A huge bolt that looks to me like it is striking the Luxor.
This strike is between Allure and the Stratosphere,
which despite being a HUGE lighting rod was apparently not struck!
