Just found this on the journal of
Memethesheep and found it funny.

IF YOU READ THIS YOU MUST POST THIS SENTENCE IN YOUR OWN JOURNAL:

"Hi, my name is FRANK, and I'm a JERK"

*

Anyway, I'm feeling better than the other day. I had two days off school and when I went back to school today, it was all okay... But according to Lee Ann on the phone last night, everyone was shitting him out cause they think he dumped me. Oi!

So by a random urge... I am listing...

(In no particular order)

Dreams (Fleetwood Mac)- I heard a remix (sort of) of this on the radio about three months ago and only remembered the line 'You will know, oh you will know..." Anyway, I downloaded it and have been in love with it ever since. It was written when everyone of the band members were going through a break-up with someone and the lyrics are so powerful.

"Thunder only happens when it's raining... Players only love you when they're playing."

The End of the world (Skeeter Davis)- I've never really been one for country, but this song has grown on me. Has anyone seen Girl interrupted? When Daisy hangs herself... this song is playing on the recorder player... over and over again. And it's so sad. It's clearly after a break up. And she doesn't know why her eyes keep crying because the world ended when he stopped loving her. I can relate to it a lot lately...

Baby mine (Alison Krauss or Bette Midler)- There are two versions of this song you can download. One from Dumbo by Alison Krauss or by Bette Midler in Beaches. Personally, I am fond of the Beaches version, maybe just because I heard it first... But both are brilliant and are excellent and beautiful lullabies.

Never leave your heart alone (Butterfly boucher)- A more recent one from Grey's anatomy. I don't know why I like it so much. It's also sad... I think when you listen, you figure it out for yourself how.

I want a mom that will last forever (Cindi Lauper)- Originally from the Rugrats in Paris Soundtrack, this song makes me want to cry.  A child/person (in the movie, Chuckie) wishing for a mom to love them and hold them when they're scared. 'When she says to me, I will always love you, I don't need to worry cause I know that it's true'

Very sad indeed. I sometimes think of this with Harry. I think it would be an accurate reflection of his feelings... yeah?

Stop (Jamelia)- First heard in Bridget Jones diary (number 2), this song is basically telling him to stop hurting her and stop lying before he completely destroys her.

Backseat of a Greyhound bus (Sara Evans)- Not really tragic and another country song, but really special and close to my heart. It involves a young woman from a small town and she falls pregnant and ends up finding exactly what she's looking for on the backseat on of a bus. Download this and listen closely. It'll leave you warm and fuzzy inside. If you like it, you'll also like Skin by rascal flats, which does have a bit more sadness to it.

We've only just begun (The Carpenters)- This is more personal sad to me. Karen Carpenter died of Anorexia. She'd had it for years and I think she was finally conquering it when she died from all the years of starving herself. It makes me sad because in one picture she looked like an old photo of my mom.

Dream a little dream of me (Mama and the Papas)- This is also more sad due to the fate of the singer. The song itself is wonderful, but Mama Cass died of a heart attack and whenever I listen to it, it reminds me of that. Shame. The song has a very mellow beautiful tune and you'll be humming with it soon...

Rain on me and Don't let them (both Ashanti)

Rain on me- About how she's in the relationship and she's cried so many times and she just wants the pain to go away and not live like this anymore. "Rain on me... Lord, won't you take this pain from me... I don't wanna live, I don't wanna breathe till you just rain on me..."

Don't let them- A plea to her boyfriend not to listen to people who tell him to leave her and how everyone says he'll just break her heart.

Suicide Note (John Napolitano)- Very powerful song. About how he watched a person close to him fight a battle inside his own head with his despression. It will make you feel weird and I don't suggest you listen if you don't want to be sad/disturbed/creeped-out.

Tears in Heaven (Eric Clapton)- He wrote this for his son, who was four when he fell out the window of a high building and died. Very sad and you can't really listen to this without feeling different afterwards.
