Inspired by 3pronged_spear's post yesterday, I decided to make my own sound clip!  Are ya ready?  This one's for Holly (and all the 'stache lovers out there)...a thank you for her wonderful spams, dedication to the community and for being the best "comm mom".  Hope you enjoy. ;)

Also, I'll be making more when time allows.  If there's any particular part of a ( Read more... )

As for yesterday's comment on swimmers complaining about Phelpsie's absence @ NBAC, I've finally found another link with a longer article. One of the swimmers is Hayley McGregory... and this post says she "laughed" when she didn't see him @ the club when she arrived three weeks ago to join the team... Alright, just good news and nothing to worry about...

I think I read that a couple days ago. Hopefully Hayley will do well at NBAC...she's had a rough time at trials. I *really* hope she does well at worlds and through 2012.

She seems to have a lot of work to do (better her dolphin kicks and turns). 6 months is a lot and yet very short. Anything can happen. I believe the Worlds are going to be very open, both in men and women competitions. Always the same after the Olympics. Maybe the Italians coz they're @ home. Rosolino will sure retire after that and I guess he is going to try to kick BB's butt in the 200 medley...

We'll see how she does in Indy...I'd like to see her do well. Worlds are going to be crazy. For everyone invloved, like you said. A LOT of people are gonna try and kick BB's butt...100 fly especially.

I want Katie to have her revenge on everybody. I didn't really about her before the Olympics but she was the girl I looked at first in the non-European teams despite Rice's success.

100 fly, beware of hungry Cavic and Leveaux... And if Leveaux wins lord only knows what's going to happen in 100 free and relay... This would boost the French confidence so high. Although he is a born 50m sprinter, Leveaux just scared the hell out of me in 100 free during the last short-course Worlds!

BTW, I always talk about the French but there's one guy who might steal the show in this race and he's Swiss : Meichtry!

I'd love to see Katie do well too. Not that she wasn't a success in Beijing, but she didn't dominate as she was expected to do in a few events.

I think the 100 fly will be *the* race to watch. It's going to be crazy...and Leveaux is absolutely insane right now. I saw all the videos that GMM had on his blog and read all about the SC records. Everyone should watch out for that guy...

Hmm...I'll have to do a little research on this Meichtry guy...so many swimmers to keep an eye on! LOL

"Everyone should watch out for that guy..."

Oh, I do... ;P
Anyone should know about Flying Fish II, the goofiest and one of the most outrageously tattooed swimmer on the planet. I like him a lot. He kisses TV presenters on the mouth when he wins, you know. Can I post piccies of MP's rival?

I read that those wings were a temporary tattoo...is it legit now? He's definitely quite the character, and swimmer. I'm getting all excited for this summer with talk of Worlds and MP's rivals... :D

"is it legit now?"
I don't know, prolly not. His coach wouldn't tolerate such kind of distractions anymore. However, Momo has so many other hidden tats. It's hard to get info on him. Everyone is after Bernard, Gilot or Manaudou (even though she announced she is going to retire 'til 2010 :/).

I'm getting all excited too. I wish I could hear a little more about what these swimmers' tech training program is about although I know it's a well-guarded secret.

I wonder how much they were actually "complaining" and how much those reporters were trying to make a story out of a non-story.
