There was two lines. I waited in line with my niece and her friends from her old swim team for two hours, just in the VIP line. By the time we got up to him, he was only signing the Pure Sport postcard and no pictures were allowed in the store or you were bounced out of line.
He wasn't talking much with people, would quietly ask how they were, sign the card and then it was on to the next person.
There was whole other line waiting to meet him after the VIP line was done. They cut off the VIP line about 10 people after we got there around 10:30am.
All I said to him was he looked tired, he kinda smirked and shrugged his shoulders.
The people though in line, absolutely creepy. Too many professional autograph hounds that when we first got there were scooping out kids to get him to sign stuff, offering the kids $20 or so to do so. BB signed a few stuff the first 30 minutes or so but something shut that down fast, along with the photos being taken in the store.
Security in the mall said they underestimated the amount of people that would show up today. I don't know if he stayed beyond the time he was suppose to or not, but I don't think there was anyway everyone in the other line got to meet him.
So glad you managed to meet him, waiting for 2 hours and get nothing would be disappointing. Maybe they should set some rules before the signing starts, so they can minimize the impact of those pro autograph seekers. Not sure why they banned taking pics of BB? People who couldn't get an autograph at least should have been allowed to take a pic or two, imo.
Everyone got an autograph, because all he would sign was the postcards that were on the table provided by Pure Sport, nothing else was allowed to be signed.
Wow seems hectic. Awww mp honestly if I was him and I was swimming 6 or 7 hours a day, the last thing I want is ppl screaming at me and cramping my hand by signing my name a 1000 times. So yeah he must be tired. I would be like , I just wanna take a nap please! LOL
Yeah that's why Im not into attending autograph signings because you don't really get that full one on one interaction w/ them and it stinks because your waiting in line for hours and you only have seconds we/ them. Oh well whoever got to see him in person today I'm happy for you. I still have yet to see him in person ... London 2012 ! Hopefully I'll be there michael LOL
