My order from Audrey's Dolls is FINALLY processing! it's been, like, a whole week!
I also have new doll clothes coming to me via the big sale on Amazon. I bought 2 Bratz Boyz to steal clothes from for $8 - INCLUDING SHIPPING! Sweeeeeet. Kate will be happy - she's finally getting a decent wardrobe, poor dear. It's hard to be a tomboy in a Barbie world. heh. Speaking of Bratz, MAN I wish their girl clothes fit better. They have a new set of clothes that would be OHSOCUTE for some of my girls, that have Type 3 bodies even... but i know they won't fit right. bah. Bother. Etc.
I've been going a bit doll splurge-y lately, so I'm trying to cut back. I'm trying to resist the allure of buying some things (like doll clothes - but come on, $8 for 2 dolls?), and sort out what I really NEED. And I think I really NEED Obitsu bodies for Gigi and Monique. I'm tempted to say I also NEED customization materials for the faceup I want to give Gigi, but I don't NEED that right now, so I'm buying the Obitsus now, and next paycheck I'll look into getting some of the chalk pastels/paint and some of the sealer. Where DO I get some sealer, btw? Anyone? I'm clueless. Help, plz, kthnx.
I'm not gonna lie, buying Obitsus is kind of a Catch-22 for me. I love Monique and Gigi's shoes so much, and I've got to get rid of about 75% of their shoe wardrobe 'cuz, well, they won't fit anymore! *sighs* And Obitsu feet are so hard to buy shoes for. LAME. So sad. Actually, I think I'm going to explore Volks a little more, and maybe do half and half - I want a big busty Obitsu for Gigi, definitely, but I'd be willing to try out a Volks for Monique... and that WOULD give Monique a little more shoe option, since I believe the Volks feet fit Barbie shoes. Hm.
It is utterly amazing how much I can ramble on about something as stupid as doll feet. I'm stopping now.
