Room 234/236 - late evening, Sunday (links)
Glee, trauma, glee, mild trauma, weird trauma. Weird weekend.
She'd spent Saturday afternoon and night at Jarod's. Which was... great, because he said he loved her again. And she'd been able to say it back to him. Awful, because he had a video file from Angelo that showed that her mother's suicide was really murder. Wonderful after that, because of dinner and a massage from Jarod which almost, almost lead to sex, butdamnit, didn't quite happen. She was not going to push, she just ... wasn't. She'd promised herself. Sunday morning she woke up with Jarod. No bad there, at all. Aside from more UST, and thinking about her mom's death. Still, all of it was made more bearable because she had someone to share it with.
Until she got randomly embarassed and TMI'd by Becky, Miho, and the hooker Parker suspected was Goldie, on her way out the door of the 4th Sin. Because yes, she wanted everyone's opinion on how nice it was that she was with Jarod, even though they weren't having sex yet, not that anyone knew that, and... right. First time they had sex? Was not going to be at the brothel, damnit.
She'd come back to the benefit luncheon for the teal deer, and a talk with Rory that covered the pool, adventures, Jarod, baseball, and then took a turn for the horrible when Rory started speculating about how cute Parker and Logan's offspring would be. Gah! And while still at the luncheon, she'd caught Angel and Logan speculating on the identity of her guy, which was then followed by them tormenting her by asking too damn many questions.
God, why couldn't he just live in the dorms? No, that would be worse. People constantly watching or commenting then would be magnified by ten. Parker burrowed under her own covers, wishing things could just be simple. Then again, she wouldn't trade Jarod for simple, so... stick with the new shiny. Just wish no one else had to look at it.
