Parker is dancing to her iPod on the back porch, wearing Casimir's shirt.

No, he's not getting it back.

She's also making a few phone calls to friends today. Some people she IM'd earlier this week and so she doesn't need to talk to now

"Paaaaaaaaaarker," Zero said. "What's the swoo?"

"Day off at the dacha with Casimir!" Parker spun. "And he dances well. Among other things."

"Oooh. Tell him your crazy punk friend says hey. Unless that'll scare him off. Russian boys, you know. Very fragile."

Parker snickered, and curled up on a lawn chair on the balcony. "I don't expect it will. Casimir's pretty easygoing so far; he'll probably just be amused and ask how crazy your are. He's not exactly typical, for which I give thanks. How's Peter doing now? Have you heard from him?"

Zero couldn't remember, "Did I talk to you since the attack of the clones? Anyway, he's fine now--he actually called earlier. Spends a lot of time at the hospital with his aunt."

"Nope, last I heard they were all going to be okay, but that was it for then. I'm glad that's still true, though. How goes Goth class? And Xander said something about animals becoming people last weekend?"

"Dr. Wilson's scared of me with eyeliner," Zero said proudly. "And yes. Fish was a person. I, curiously enough, was not."

"As he should be, intimidated by both skill and deadliness," Parker said, grinning wickedly. "And-- oh, man...." She put the phone down so she could laugh enough, then got back on after the chortling subsided. "Right! Okay, what kind of person does Fishy make? And did he take good care of Pink Kitty Zero?"

"Kinda hit an' miss, really. He was really good at mimickin' what he'd seen others do...which meant he tried to feed me birdseed. And he never. Shut. Up." Zero paused. "He was, however, disturbingly attractive."

"Okay, and that idea? Is disturbing. And I'm not even there to have seen it." Parker shook her head. "I'm glad he's a bird again. Now *this* is the kind of thing that would have Casimir looking askance at me."

"An' I was a kitten so I didn't even get pics," Zero pouted. "I did, however, film Fandom Chicken 3. When not cat-shaped."

"They're making another one? Crazier or less crazy than the first two? And hey! I watched the documentary! It was great, although I knew it was going to be." Parker smirked. "So should have won the prize. Although I'm so glad no one here is going to see the Rita bits."

"It was pretty crazy." Zero snickered. "Really? I thought the Rita bits really made the film. Well. Them or Hamlet bein' fuzzy an' adorable..."

"I loved Hamlet the Lion Cub Prince," Parker said, grinning and remembering making Pop Tarts for him. "I think that's the most cheerful he was the entire time I knew him there. What's going on this weekend, then? Aside from any unscheduled invasions."

"Music festival," Zero told her. "So the only thing invadin'll be musicians." She paused. "We're doomed."

"Given out experiences? Oh yeah." Parker shook her head. "I wouldn't be surprised if Bigfoot didn't show up again, along with Taily-po. I'm almost sad Teal Dear can't reunite for it, even though I'd hate to miss it."
