Room 234/236 : very early Thursday morning
There had been small tiny crazy people, taken out for ice cream and introduced to their fathers. There had been popcorn vengeance, and paintball fighting. There had been sad good-byes and some serious sighs of relief.
Wednesday had been all about classes, and trying to process. Talking to Jake and Isabel, and D'Anna and Jarod at Caritas. And of course, dealing with Teal Dear's latest crisis, and trying to come up with a new plan with Zero.
Parker still blamed the wee tiny offspring on her.
And in the last four days, there had barely been any time to think about Weiss. Which was actually a good thing.
"Hey. How's your mom?"
"...Seriously? That's great. How long are they going to have to keep her there?"
