LONDON -- A British woman won her appeal on Tuesday against a conviction for collecting information which would be useful to a terrorist.

Samina Malik, 24, was convicted in December and given a suspended sentence of nine months in prison in Britain.

The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Phillips, one of three judges who heard the appeal, said the jury may have become confused about which documents presented as prosecution evidence were relevant to the charges against Malik.
