Complexities of Afghanistan ...
The situation in Afghanistan is not straightforward. Anybody who wants to understand what's going on should ask themselves:
* Why is it that the Iranians get along very well with the Karzai administration?
* Why is it that the Russians also get along well with the Karzai administration and don't want NATO to fail?
* Why is it that all Afghans (including the Pushtuns) have such contempt and loathing for the ISI and the Taliban?
