HereKay glared back at Bray as they traveleddown the city streets toward Mosquito Headquarters. "Rathole? Funny term for a MALLRAT." She pointed out. "And I thought your Tribe would have filled you in on what's been happening. The city wasn't too happy when your girlfriend shut down the gates - with the only Hospital inside, not

He wondered to himself, what was the best way to get Moz on his side, maybe arranging a few things for her. Supplies? No she wouldn't need them. He wondered, and the only thing he could think of was power, something he was sure he could hand out in abundance if things came together.
"When did she demand the gates to be down?"

Luck with her. Inside Moz, Riz, and Terri lept to their feet.

"Hold it!" he shouted out. He'd hoped for better than aggressive negotiations, but what could you expect from these.

Moz glanced from Bray and Kay to Riz and Terri. She signaled her girls to stay back. "Well, this is a surprise." She stated. Why was Bray here? Had Trudy recognized her voice? Realized it was her shooting at the Mall? But even if they knew, why would Bray come alone? "Mallrats just seem to think they can waltz into any place in the city whenever they feel like it, don't they? But you're certainly against anyone returning the favor." She picked up her whip. "I suggest you let her go, and explain why you're here, or this might get ugly."

"I'm here to talk, broker an alliance," he kept it vague to gain their interest. "Now you can listen, or I can go," then he added, "But this one here will be coming with me."

She studied Bray carefully, a frown on her face. This wasn't like him. The only time he'd ever threatened her was when he'd thought she'd kidnapped Amber. But he'd been out of control then. This was different. What was going on with the Mallrat leader?
She narrowed her eyes, debating. "An alliance? With the Mallrats? Or with you?"

"Now is the right time to build an empire, take over the city. Everyone should serve me. I offer you the chance to stand beside me as I do." He didn't want to go into details yet, but hopefully he could snag her attention before she tried to kill him. If not, he'd have to get out, that didn't worry him though.

Slowly, reluctantly, she put her whip back down. "I think we should talk." She admitted. "Alone."

Bray stepped back as Kay moved away, ready to bolt to the door, but he hid his intent behind a look of confidence.
[OOC sorry I have to head off for work now :-(]

Moz waited until the door was shut to turn back to Bray. "I think you have some explaining to do. I'm listening."
[OOC - It's okay. Sorry for disappearing myself earlier. Catcha later. :) ]

"My life as you know it has been a masquarade." he waited a few moments for it to settle in, not that she had a clue yet. "When Zoot died, falling in the Mall as he did," he paused, painful memories haunting him again, GO AWAY! he thought at himself, "It wasn't really him, it was Bray." he pause again. "I'm Zoot, and it's time for my resurrection."
Before she could respond he added, "Build to Destroy to Build to Destroy. That way we always have fresh flames to dance in."
"Now, you know."

Whatever was going on with him the Mallrats couldn't know about or he wouldn't be out walking the streets. And regardless the reason he believed he was Zoot, this could be useful. Not, however, if she told him he was insane. But Moz also knew it couldn't appear too easy. There was a thin line to walk if she wanted him to include her in whatever his plans were.
"You're Zoot?" She repeated, sitting slowly. "Bray died in the Mall? I'm not sure I believe that. But you're sure not acting like who the city's come to know as Bray..." She studied him, thinking. "If you are who you claim to be - answer me this. Why the false identity? Why pretend to be Bray?"

"This city is out of control, and people do as they please, it doesn't after be this way. Through chaos I shall create order," Bray/Zoot paused, he didn't want to appear weak, but he had to also had to ask. "In order to do that I need strength, I need an alliance. You seem strong at the moment, a natural choice."
Reply
'Strong at the moment, huh? A Natural Choice?' She thought to herself. Actually, considering her tribe was still only half together it didn't say much for the city that they were still considered one of the strongest. Of course, she had led a mob to the Mall only a few days before.
Still debating, Moz leaned back in her seat. "What's in it for me?" She asked him.

"What's in it for you," Zoot/Bray said intensley. "Why power. Think about the changes, the removal of your enemies, mostly, and the need for new authority in the city. Someone to enforce my law upon anyone and everyone one.
"You'll be right there, a general from the the start. All the rewards I can off will be yours."
He looked at her, then added for affect, and a way out, "No, wait before you answer, I'll go let you think about it. I'm sure you've got questions, and I'll answer them. I have other errands to run, appearances to be maintained."

Moz watched Bray, not replying. Power. In the chaotic world of after-virus it was the most important thing of all. And wasn't that what Bray was offering her on a silver platter? But Moz wasn't one to trust in such apparent easy offerings. She nodded when he said he'd give her time to think about it. "Then go. It may seem suspicious if you are gone too long." She stood, tilting her head toward the door. "I'll think about your offer, but I'll make no promises."
Tempting as it was, there would be drawbacks to this alliance. One was Bray wasn't all there - and that would be a volatile situation to be placed in. Second was chances of discovery. He couldn't come and go to Mosquito Headquarters often without attracting suspicion. But she couldn't allow him to know her network of spies and informants. If he regained his senses it would give the Mallrats too much knowledge. Yes, she had alot to think about before deciding one way or the other.
