UKRAINE CRISIS: WHO IS TO BLAME?
Not so long ago, from several Russians living in Western Europe, I learned how much information about the situation in Ukraine was distorted in the Western media. The same thing is about the alleged involvement of Russia in the conflict. This is largely due to biased presentation of facts and events by Ukrainian media, eg I was surprised to learn about the shelling of Ukrainian cities from Russian territory, or the shelling of Donetzk by the militias (according to Ukrainian media - "terrorists" or «separatists»), and other cities, which are in their (militias’s) own hold since this April. This is shear libel, that does not correspond to reality. From the beginning of hostilities, the Ukrainian army and its insane nationalist groups of Kolomiysky (eg "Donbass", “Azov” & “Dnepr”) began bombarding residential areas of towns and villages, apparently aiming for Russian genocide in the Donbass. The very conflict began when after ousting the legal president (who was supporting the rights of Russians on South-East of Ukraine), «Maidan» people who took power by force (unwanted deputies were not allowed to enter the parliament by the armed nationalists) had declared that in the whole country, including areas inhabited predominantly Russian (Donbass, Crimea, Odessa) will have only one official language - Ukrainian and Ukrainian nationalist formations organized terrifying "tours "across the country and sow terror in the areas inhabited by Russian-speaking. Of course, that is why the Crimea raised and ensured its bloodless and a legitimate move to Russia, because Autonomous Republic of Crimea in accordance with the Constitution had the whole right to decide this question. These innovations (the only Ukrainan language) of illegitimate authorities and terror of nationalistic bandits led active people of South-East of Ukraine to organize resistance to these actions. Henceforth they had got the moral right to fight for separation from Ukraine. This moral right was confirmed by popular referendum held there in 11th May. When the first shells by Ukrainian army began to destroy homes, schools, hospitals (that time the militias were initially only at the checkpoints in suburbia), when a peaceful people began to die, it became clear that the Donbass never more be the Ukrainian, because people have lost faith in the justice of Ukrainian authorities, in their will to protect them, people saw what genocide is in action. Many of those who were neutral were forced to join the militia to avenge the destruction of their homes, the injured and the death of loved ones.
Russia essentially tooks the position of non-interference in the conflict, because it had no right to intervene, even though all Russians hurt to watch the destruction of entire regions, on the demolished houses, injury and death of relatives (and they are many, since the border in Soviet times were very artificial - in my opinion, about a half of Russian citizens have Ukrainian roots). In addition, the intervention in this case would mean the outbreak of World War III. But many forces that want to escalate the conflict, trying their best to defame and blacken Russia, endlessly inventing the next "machinations of Russia."
I debited from my friends in the Ukraine, and they painted a picture of a complete dupe Ukrainians because of false statements of self-proclaimed government of Ukraine and playing up their media that the militias are terrorists and that Russia has long been waging a war against Ukraine. I hope that the Europeans are fair enough and can sensibly judge what is true and what is false. The main thing is no prejudice. I am sure that the view of each person influences on the overall situation and peace in the world.
I enclosed a link to the English version of a collection of documents concerning the Kiev junta crimes against the civilian population of Donbass (grievous, 18 +) from 2 July to 24 July, which were not available to people nor in Russia, nor in Ukraine, nor in Western Europe. The subtotal of this internal war and genocide of Russians is more than 3,000 people killed, about a million left their homes, including about half a million temporarily taken refuge in Russia.
