I calm down.
Just finished two and a half days straight of throbbing pain, nights writhing from pain worse than getting your back molars pulled, which I had done just this morning.
Really, I'm not kidding. I'm not. It hurt more those nights I was trying to sleep and couldn't because of the pain, and when I had my teeth pulled, I didn't cry and only cried out a little bit, which is much less than, well, those nights. Again.
Good thing it was only three nights, but that was the worst three nights of my life.
Last night, I fell in and out of consciousness from the pain, at its worst, and suddenly at about three in the morning, it all stopped. I fell asleep. Woke up again, with a swollen mouth, and no matter how horrible it looked, it felt like the biggest relief of my life.
Last bit of pain was after getting my tooth pulled (it was enormous, the roots, anyway) and falling out of the anesthesia, but that went away when it healed.
So... torture's done. Hooray!
And believe you me, someone who's had her big toe nail (the same one) taken out thrice would know what pain is, and that was worse.
