open houses
im making a list of open houses to go see today. i've only got three on my list right now, but its a slow time of year for open houses. i'll be hitting brookhaven, eddystone, and ridley park today. i know, not the fanciest towns, but i alone make as much as a poor couple. so i end up looking in poorer towns. i'm ok with that. i just wish delaware county didn't have the highest property taxes in the state.
so another strange thing is happening... i didn't realize how completely depressed i was. i can now see where i was and where i'm headed and i'm not out yet, but the overwhelming despair is lifting. its nice :)
yesterday my mom and went out to lunch and looked at some house photos. she told me if i want my wedding money to put towards a house, i can have it. but i have to promise to pay for my own wedding. i don't plan on getting married, but i wanted to save my wedding money for an adoption. i'll have to think on this one.
