animation: The Book of Life
Soooo... I recently went to watch The Book of Life. Though it didn't appeal to me at first, well my friend really wanted to see it so we went and i must say, i was surprised. It was as bad as i thought, even if the chara design took some used to.
The story was simple and kind of cheesy but well executed. Overall, i enjoyed it^^
The songs fitted nicely with the story (when do they not) but i don't know why it particularly touched me (the Apology song to the bull was moving).
So here we go:
THE BOOK OF LIFE, a vibrant fantasy-adventure, tells the legend of Manolo, a conflicted hero and dreamer who sets off on an epic quest through magical, mythical and wondrous worlds in order to rescue his one true love and defend his village.

Not a bad movie, especially since i really didn't have any expectations, nice OST.
