Today's the first day without parents and Jocelyn milling around in awhile. Seriously it's just been family family family for the past four days, every since I officially went on break, and although it's nice to have a change in pace, it's also very tiring.
On the plus I bought three pairs of the warmest socks ever at Roots yesterday. My sister went into crazy-boxing-day mode, which is always scary for me, a person who likes books. And quiet.
I have a whole kick ass load of writing to do, which is both fun and also terrifying. I have to start buckling down. I've got about half of my Teddy/James bigbang figured out, and like - 500 words written, which needs to be bumped up to 2,000 by today, at least. I'm also working on a script that has to been sent to this playwright soon, and some projects for school and exam studying, and a GLEE - yes, ugh, I've turned into a crazy gleek - story involving Sebastian and some old guy which is both fun and daunting.
My official Christmas list is as followed --> although I'm seeing Valerie today, to do a late gift swap, this is what I received :) I'm quite content with absolutely everything::

a french the llama poster
the office seasons 1 & 2 (American as I already have british)
milk
scott pilgrim vs. the world (film)
paris 1919 (margaret macmillian) and the night circus (erin morgenstern)
paper towns (john green), franny & zooey (salinger) and making history (stephen fry)
a wack load of chocolate
even more AWESOME (neil pasricha)
NEW MATH, bo burnham t-shirt

and $50 from my Aunt Jenny. And another $50 from my dad's best friend. How perfectly lovely.
My sister had a bit of a fit because she's a bit of a spoiled brat around Christmas time but that's okay because, yeah she's annoying, but she's also family so there's nothing I can do about it.
And nothing I really want to do. That's how she is. We all have faults.

Happy day after the day after the day after Christmas :D

Also, I have been wishing for snow and it came. Yesterday it was raining and like 1 degree. Now it is -15 degrees with 3 inches of frozen snow. HUFFAH.

writing, ramblings
