Random, tired thoughts...
Today (or rather, yesterday) was such a long day. I had to be at work for eight in the morning until four-thirty and then I got together with my friend, Sukaina, who is here in Toronto for the week (she actually lives in Ottawa). It was so nice to see her again. We had a really nice dinner at the restaurant Luna Rossa and we exchanged gifts. We essentially got each other the same things. lol.
I got her a gift set from the Body Shop and the fifth season of "Will and Grace" while she gave me a similar gift basket full of soaps and stuff and the fifth season of "Friends". Huzzah! lol.
It's hard to believe that Christmas is only a few days away! I think most of it has to do with the fact that there is STILL no snow here. How can there be Christmas without a single snowflake? The weather has been rainy and gloomy and pretty mild for this time of the year. Stupid global warming! Oh, and I hope, by now, that all of you who sent me your addresses have gotten your cards that I sent.
I'm reading my "Premiere" magazine. They made a list of the top performances of 2006. I think I will have to do mine in the future. Probably closer to Oscar time.
At work today I got my first HMV staff discount. I bought "House" season two. I don't own the first season yet but I'm almost 100% sure my parents bought it for me for Christmas, so I will have both seasons so I can play catch up as much as I can before the new ones resume.
Speaking of t.v., tonight I got Sukaina to watch the first episode of "Six Feet Under"...she said all my talk about it intrigued her. That's right people! I'm Laura and I'm spreading the gospel according to the Fishers. All of you need to watch this show!
