House: "Finding Judas"

Nov 28, 2006 23:37

Hey everyone! I'm so sick right now it's not even funny. But, I only have two more days left of school and then I'm on my Christmas break. Plus, I got my Shakespeare essay back where I wrote about "Twelfth Night" and I got an A. I feel so nerdy! Yay! lol.

I'm sending out Christmas cards for everyone that sent me their address on Wednesday. I just bought stamps but I haven't written up the cards yet. But expect something in your mailbox from good old me in the near future.

Well, I didn't have too much to say but I thought I'd talk about tonight's episode of "House" which is fast becoming my traditional Tuesday post. I'll put it under the cut because it does include spoilers.

HOUSE: "Finding Judas"
This has been the episode that many people have been looking forward to as it reveals who is the one who ultimately turns House in to Tritter. I've been looking forward to this one myself, especially since I thought it was going to be on last week and I was disappointed when I found out I had to wait another seven days.

I guess I'll put down some random thoughts, but try to keep them in order of how they happened on the show to at least keep it coherent.

*I liked the little laser pointer moment between House and Cuddy, although it reminded me of when I worked as an usher in a movie theatre and I had to kick out a bunch of brats with those things. God, I hate laser pointers. lol.

*Tritter needs to get a life. The man is a bullying loser. Aren't there murderers he should be out trying to catch?

*I'm very intrigued by how moody House has been in the last couple of episodes. He's quite clearly going through Vicodin withdrawl and it's taking a severe toll on his personality, which was already snarky, at his best moments. I like how he seemed genuinely panicked that he'd stop getting his supply, even from Cuddy. I wonder if he will eventually be given a new perscription or if the writers will make him continue his withdrawl until he's over his addiction?

*House's "terrible mother" comment was really harsh. Unnecessarily so, but than again, he's in withdrawl. His comment made me sad. But I really liked the moment she shared with Wilson when he found her crying. Is it just me or would they make a cute couple? They both seem like nice people who just happen to be really lonely. And if anyone could relate to being hurt by House's comments or actions it would be Wilson.

*Going back to what I just said in regards to Cuddy, I was happy that there was a lot more of her in this episode. As a new fan of the show I haven't seen her do much of anything so an episode like this is really enlightening as to the type of character she is. I'm beginning to really, really like her.

*Chase had a "lightbulb" moment. Awesome. I haven't really seen anyone do that besides House.

*House punching Chase was anti-climactic seeing as it was repeated in the preview a thousand times. I would have been shocked had they kept it a surprise, but it was still an interesting development nonetheless because I really liked the way that Chase put his anger aside, stood right back up and continued telling House he was wrong about his diagnosis of the little girl. He handled that well.

*Did Chase quit? Hmmm...

*I knew that Wilson was Judas. I read a spoiler about a week ago. I wish I hadn't because he would have been the last one I'd expect to give in to Tritter's bullying. But the way I figure the writers will play out this plotline is that they will either tease the idea that Wilson turned House in, only to reveal that he chickened out or that he is somehow setting Tritter up for something to get him off of everyone's back. I just can't see him turning in House, so I'm going with my assumption that the writers are doing something sneaky with this.

By the way, does anyone have a link so I can see the preview for next weeks episode? Thanks a bunch.
