One of my all-time favourite musicals from when I was a child was "Oliver!", the 1968 Oscar winner. I love all the music, plus Ron Moody was so great as Fagin.
I just bought tickets to see a performance of it at the Stratford Festival in Stratford, Ontario. I've only been there once before, to see a performance of "Macbeth", which I really enjoyed. It should be interesting to see how the musical is done onstage, especially with Colm Feore in the lead as Fagin.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend. My best friend is coming in from Ottawa so we are spending the entire weekend out and about. :) I can't wait.
