I'm so overwhelmed by everything that happened on tonight's season finale of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit." I'd love to hear everyone's feedback. Comments contain spoilers.
LAW AND ORDER: SVU--"Screwed"
*Well, the rumours have proven true. Kathy is the pregnant one. I don't know how I feel about this. I don't dislike her, but I like Elliot being single, at the moment. It will be interesting, though, to see what this will do to their rocky relationship.
*I'm enjoying the fact that FBI agent Porter is spending free time with Olivia. I liked him immediately when he was first introduced a few weeks back. Olivia needs some lovin'.
*Darius Parker is one of the cruelest murderers they've had on the show. I mean, he viciously murders a young woman and her baby and tries to get off by claiming he was framed and mistreated by the detectives on the case. Ugh. Even Finn looked about ready to kill him, and it's his stepson. I was so pissed off when he was found not guilty (but at the same time I love when shows make me mad like that). Stupid, smug bastard. However, I loved Finn's final words to him. "I will never think about you again." It's one of the worst things you could say to a person.
*Poor Kathleen. That's rough, handcuffing her, while Elliot tries to keep her calm.
*I'm concerned about Cragen's character. I worry that he may be written out of the show. I will be royally pissed off. Just seeing him, in his uniform, walking into that room...I'm worried about him for next season.
*Olivia shouldn't have confessed to helping Simon. I mean, I know she was trying to do the right thing, but at the risk of her career. I thought that was noble of Simon to at least try to help her out.
*Angry, tense Munch. We don't see that very often.
*I loved Novak's reaction to losing the case. I think this one really hit her hard, plus she got that little note from the D.A. office, which doesn't look good.
*I'm glad that they reintroduced Adam Beach's character. He's such a great actor and it's nice to see a fellow Canadian making it big. :) I hope he's a permanant addition, as long as it doesn't mean we lose someone else in the process.
*Overall, I thought it was an excellent end to the season. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster this year, but for the most part, I've loved it all. Pretty much everyone has a cliffhanger, which should make for a great season opener in September (man, that's faar!).
