And now, for no reason, some music I've been listening to repeatedly for the past few days.

1. The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel this has been stuck in my head. So much. Auuugh. And also I learned about it in rock music history class, apparently this is the original version, which wasn't a hit, then producers snatched it and added another guitar and drums to it and it became a hit. ...I like the original better. It suits the tone of the lyrics.

2. Don't You Forget About Me by Simple Minds ...|: no comment. Just that it reminds me of the 80s and it makes me feel kinda crappy.

3. Psycho Killer by Talking Heads ...yep. Where else will you get random French while talking about serial killers?

4. Bakusou Yume Uta by Diggy-Mo there's something incredibly hilarious about Japanese guys rapping. Also this song inexplicably reminds me of 80s-90s shonen anime despite the fact that it's the third ending of a recent one. Maybe because I listened to it a lot while rereading YYH. ...And his face fuzz BOTHERS ME.

5. Stand by Me by Ben E. King hello, rock music history class, I still hate you for reminding me of this song's existence.

...I'm disturbed by how not-cheerful most of that list is. It drives me bats.
