Sometimes I wonder if all this destruction is because the poor man's parents named him "Pliny."
Montenegro's been attacked by several unkindnesses of ravens (or somesuch), which had a habit of exploding violently when killed. While we are a very solid structure, and the Black Dragons are quite adept at using the elements to explode them at a distance...I dare say the mainlands could likely see the pyrotechnics, the Malvagio legends should be ramping up again...a few did manage to get inside via the air circulation system.
The main lift still works, although I may need to seek out some Begmans to make it work properly again; Ygor lost one of his more flamable labs; and the library, while escaping charring, is in a bit of disarray due to two of the buggers concussing the shelves when being forcefully detonated between levels four and six. It's also possible a few of them may be hiding out in the stacks, although given the nature of the stacks, they're likely in more danger than we are.
Ygor has noticed several interesting corrosive stains and is wondering if the black road birds had a secondary weapon variation that many normal birds tend to employ. He's been cleaning up the place singing that "Birdie, Birdie, in the sky" song.
