I'm sitting here listening to a little bit of everything and anything on Blogmusik, and somehow I end up listening to the Snoop Dogg album Doggystyle from 1993, and I realize that 14 years after the fact, you probably don't need me to tell you this, but holy hell, that's a damn fine record.
By far, my favorite song on that album is the brilliant (and I mean that sincerely) Ain't No Fun --that shit is fucking hilarious. I don't know if it's meant to be funny or not, but I can't take it seriously, not in the sense that I would find it offensive or in the "right on, brother" kind of way. I listen to it, and I just think it's funny.
