Today is my birthday. Today I am the ripe old age of 22. Twenty-two. That's some nice aliteration there. Which is probably the only redeming quality of a 22nd birthday. Otherwise, the anniversary is of little significance.
I love birthdays. Mostly for the cake and ice cream, but also for the kind words and well wishes of nearly everyone you know, regardless of their feelings for and opinions of you. Birthdays, like Christmas, tend to make people nicer to each other than they normally are, and I always appreciate a little kindness.
