Oh my god, that's so depressing. My second biggest fear in life is that when I die no one will notice (my first biggest fear in life is being slowly smashed to death -- seems rather unpleasant). I think the best way to avoid both of these fates is to make sure that I die on top of someone. Just kill over right atop their head. I think they'd notice.
