"Our Generation has had no Great war, no Great Depression. Our war is spiritual. Our depression is our lives." - Chuck Palahniuk.
Sometimes, I feel like I missed out on the high school experience that everyone else seems to experience. Hanging out with friends on the weekend, after school, whenever. Sometimes, I feel like I do not miss that, but sometimes I do. And, by sometimes, I mean right now. I feel like I am missing out because I found something greater than any of that when I was not even looking. It's lonely to have a secret place no one else can seem to relate to. A greater sense of home. A greater sense of family in your friends. Sometimes I wish I had that at my actual home with my Mukwonago friends. And, by sometimes I mean right now.
"When we don't know who to hate, we hate ourselves." - Chuck Palahniuk
