please not that all characters in this poem are figments of my imagination and not at all based on any one I know!
Down the M25 the read truck speeds
Its on board products from pods not seeds
The other drivers all stare - not to be rude
and exclaim "that belongs to ferg - the dude!"
The peas inside are happy and green
and very thankful they weren't born as a bean
Ferg adores them, and keeps them on ice
to ensure when they reach the table their crisp and nice
This shinny red truck, just shimmers with luck
Through magic its peas are never covered in muck
Ferg and his farmer mate have a good deal
The peas are ready to eat, and dont need a peel
Ferg's help, a pretty and happy girl
keeps him occupied mile by mile
without this help the peas would surely melt
and sadness and madness all round would be felt
Now back to the truck and its exciting story
The journey is ending in a blaze of glory
The peas will be delivered so very soon
and Ferg, his helper and truck will go home by the light of the moon!!
