Good evening everyone!
how are we doing? :3
I'll talk about various things in this entry :)
First of all, starting from last Friday's class!
My Wushu/T'ai Chi lesson went very well!
I'm slowly learning the first form of T'ai Chi, the way I've to do it and the philosophy behind! now, I'll explain myself better from the next lesson probably (and I'll pay more attention to the name of the form >:))
I can already tell you that is really good and enjoyable to do! You listen to what the "sifu" says and you move consequentially! (of course I dunno the terminology yet, so I just follow the moves with my eyes through the mirrors... In a way I'll learn a bit of Chinese too ^^d)
About Wushu...
I already learnt the punches (open and close hands) and the saves (dunno if it's the correct way to translate it, but basically these are the movements that you've to to when your defending yourself from the previous punches...these saves have also an open and close hands distinction)...
I learnt the 8 basic forms for the legs (can't explain better than this ^^"... basically are movements that you'll even use in the other techniques... and I'll learn even the movements for the hands, but for now I've to memorize correctly these ones ^^d)
I leant the defense position ^^d
On Friday I worked with the others and we learnt (I learnt, since I'm the newbie there with a little child that really pisses off my sifu and does whatever he wants XD) the first 4 kicks, focusing on the legs movements and using the hands only to balance... they were all front kicks, but of different kind:
- front stretch kick (mine wasn't really high, but even the others were at my level, so it's fine LOL)
- a front cut kick (basically you turn a bit and kick with external part of the foot XD)
- two front kicks that hit the same spot (one seems more a pushing one, the other is like a err... whip? yeah, you hit and get back to your position ^^d)
That's pretty much all regarding the Wushu class :D
On Saturday...
Beside cleaning and being shocked because the 7th ep. digest of Akumu Chan, I went to do indoor climbing... man, I missed that place TT^TT
As soon as I walked through the door, the chalk's scent got me right away *w*
BUT... when I putted on my climbing shoes... I wanted to cry because of the pain x°°°D
As I probably already said, you've to wear particular shoes that doesn't fit your feet, but they're actually smaller to get a better grip and climb easily... and mines are two size smaller (there are actually people that buys shoes of four size smaller than their feet...that must really HURT like hell, since mines makes me almost cry ><), plus, the last time I wore them was like... 6 months ago XD and my right foot wasn't better than back then! I'm actually thinking that it's getting worse... well, I'll wait and see what happens XD
I climbed for like 2 hours and the pain of my feet was replaced from the pain coming from my hands and arms (I'm training them now, so it'll not be a problem next Sunday) XD
It was really good looking for old paths and trying to do them again *^* (one of the owners told me that they're preparing new ones and that I might be able to try them next Sunday!)
Here's a pic of the place! (during the 2010 Halloween competition XD)
There should be more recent pics somewhere... anyway, for more pics go here ^^d
http://www.latanadelgeco.com/foto.html On Sunday (yesterday) I went to a "little" festival for the truffle!
There were LOTS of people and TONS stalls XD here's a few pics!
(yup, this is my hand XD and these are chestnuts *^*)
some of the stalls ^^d
and, no kidding, this was about 1/6 (if not more) of all the cars that were there O_______O
NOW! drawings... no time to do it now! BUT I'll do it tomorrow afternoon, I promise XD
Feel free to ask for infos if you need and if there's (I know there is) something that you don't understand, do tell, I'll try to explain myself better >:D
Cheers!
p.s. Damn, my English this evening is awful LOL
