This is ADORABLE. Just discovered the de-anon, and have bookmarked it. :) I really like how realistic it feels, the way Prussia feels himself becoming more and more human, the way he clearly adores Freddy, and the honest reactions of everyone around him. It's just really good. Keep writing, I look forward to each update.

I put most of what I thought about this chapter in my comment there (mostly consisting of awwww, so sweet but fffff Prussia you poor thing ;o; ), but I have more to praise! 8D
I love the whole multilingual thing-- must be tough (I've never been good with languages, ghh), but it'd be totally cool for Freddy. :D Also, sounds like an awesome party for him~ Though when I read the line about France making a cake and Spain bringing tomatoes, I thought: tomato cake. Hahaha, ew? xD
But the one thing I keep thinking of is GILBERT DON'T DIE SOBSOB ;____;

I love your lovely, long comments! x3 They make me smile. I'll try to keep writing so that you have plenty to read! I've got plenty of work in the way, but I'll be spending the next two days (it's spring break) working on all of my work to catch up, and then I hope to be able to write more.

I did a bunch of research on raising multilingual kids to see what's plausible before writing this fic. It's a little embarrassing to admit. >///<

Whether Gilbert lives or dies is still up in the air--I still don't know what turns the story will take, to be honest. I guess we'll see...

I like Prussia noticing the whole covering more ground than seemed to be physically possible it's a cool detail. I also like the whole being more able to remember Canada after he's no longer a nation I'm curious about your reasoning behind that one. Is it that no longer being a nation and interacting with Canada helps kind of single him out? Or (as is my head canon surround Prussia and Canada) is it because during WW1 there were Prussian soldiers present a few places Canada fought and he'd made an impression, that lasted because it was the last war Prussia had as Prussia?

I digress though, adorable chapter and I'll be on the lookout for more.

I should add headcanon to the warnings list. I think of Prussia as being able to remember Canada now because it's the other nations who have a habit of forgetting about him, rather than just anyone. As Prussia loses his nationhood, he loses that forgetfulness, as well. There's also the fact that there's a place in Canada called New Prussia. But that's just my headcanon, like the nations covering more ground than is physically possible, HRE being little!Germany, etc.
