Here's my thanksgiving list early of what I am grateful for:
I'm grateful for having enough food today.
I'm grateful to wear what I want whenever, wherever.
I'm grateful to be able to vote.
I'm grateful for my house not being bombed.
I'm grateful that my family is safe and healthy and not separated.
I'm grateful for my job which sustains my ability to get more than adequate health care.
I'm grateful that I have the freedom to express my views.
In short, I'm grateful to not be living in a truly oppressed or poverty-stricken society. Half of America believes that today is a horrible day, but in all honesty, look around you and see how much your life is blessed. You could be in the Sudan, or in India searching a landfill for food. We're so lucky.
