Doctors
I was apparently referred to the ME clinic last October, I thought they'd have lots of people to see, so wasn't worried that I hadn't heard anything. Phoned up the ME clinic to check (as people had been telling me to do for months) and oh look, no record of a referral. Phoned doctors and they're going to try and sort it and get me referred.
The ME clinic were lovely, gave me a fax number just in case the referral had been lost in the post or something, and said they'd never make anyone wait that long.
This has happened before though, after my car crash in Nov 06 I was told not to drive and they were referring me to a neurologist, did they buggery. 6 months of my parent's driving 40 miles a day to get me to work because they'd forgotten.
And I was supposed to be booked in for a scan at the hospital since the end of november, you'll never guess what they forgot to do.
Next time I get referred or booked in anywhere I'm phoning up after a week to check it's been done.
