Feels good to be home.

It took me a while... but it finally does feel kind of nice to be home :)

I really will miss home next Christmas. I am really glad I did go carolling, and I got to see familiar faces. Means a lot to me :)

I wonder what awaits me in the UK... I really feel caught in the middle. On the one hand I am happy to be here, but on the other I want to go back to see what will happen. But I know as soon as I'm there I might start getting little bouts of homesickness after a month or two again. I guess the key is to learn to detach myself to "places". And I'm slowly learning to do that. I now refer to Singapore as home but sometimes, at a slip of the tongue, I realise I refer to the UK as home as well. The idea of home is still important to me, but I guess the one thing I've come to see is that I've found constants in two places... that's why I refer to both places as home now. Honestly can't imagine going to uni next year without all my friends from college... but then I'll let tomorrow worry for itself for today is already wrought with its own troubles :) God knows, God cares.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and got some good deals from Boxing Day sales (if shopping was part of the plan on the 26th)!

And an early Happy 2008 to all! May you see God's grace and love around you wherever you go, whatever you do :)
