ENGAGEMENT

LONG STORY:
Kevin and I used to work together at a little restaurant in Tamworth, NH. When things would get crazy in the kitchen Kevin would sing "Yellow Submarine" to keep himself from throwing things (like everyone else). SO, this band we really love, As Fast As, was playing a Beatles cover show in Portland, ME on New Year's Eve and Kevin decided to arrange it with the band for him to propose to me during the show! After a couple of songs the lead singer called out, "Kevin? Is Kevin here? Come on up man" And of course I was like, "What the?" Kevin just pushed me up on the stage and told the crowd about how he used to sing "Yellow Submarine" in the kitchen at work, and how much it would mean if they played it for us. Then the crowd went nuts, yelled at him to get on one knee, which he did, and he proposed!! It was like a dream, I still don't believe it's real. I know I said yes, hugged and kissed him, there was some kind of jewelry taken from a very small box, more hugging, then we were back on the dance floor while the band played "Yellow Submarine." *SIGH*
