Three Little Birds
I woke up today knowing that everything was going to be ok, which compared to my mood yesterday is a good thing. The last few days, nothing has gone right and everything I have been trying to do has been more long & drawn out than it should have been. I about broke down lastnight and just went to bed early which caused me to even wake up before my alarm clock. (Not something I usually do but the much needed full night sleep could explain feeling refreshed today as well.)
Its finals week at school so my frazzled state is normal and happens about twice a year but for somereason this semester seems worse than the prior ones. I just have felt out of control about every aspect of my life and I need to control at least one thing and hope that the others fall into place.
Anyways, back to this morning. I woke up feeling better than the last few days, my dogs were semi-behaiving, it seemed like I got ready in no time and my hair/make-up gave me no problems (lame I know.) Plus its a perfect day out, all sunny & springy with a really pretty blue sky.
As if to reassure my mood, I got in my car and a mixed cd I had set on random started out with Bob Marley's Three Little Birds. The whole way to work I played it on repeat with the windows rolled down singing at the top of my lungs (except of course when people could hear me.) I didn't even get annoyed that I had to go slow on some parts because of construction and didn't cuss out the annoying douchebags who instead of merging like the rest of the normal people think that they are entitled to zoom to the front and merge last minute.

My good mood will probably be reversed again around Sunday or Monday and then again next Friday because I have final papers due and haven't been keeping up on them.
