I have a lot to write about but not the passion or motivation to write all that has happened down. I will say this, the power of praying combined with fasting is supernatural. I made a promise with God that I would tell everyone that I could, about his greatness and faithfulness in my life and in my family's lives. This is just a glimpse of how his power is more than able to perform miracles though people doubt it because they themselves haven't seen it in action. I'm convinced, because I was like this for the longest time, that over 95% of christians have such a hard time truly believing and trusting in God that whatever he chooses to do is the best thing that can happen. They don't see his miracles and they miss out on his blessings because of this fact alone; that they are not willing to let go of their situation and believe that God's way, as hard as it may seem in the given moment, in actuality is the easiest and best way. I think that there are blinders on our eyes keeping us from perceiving and understanding that his will is pleasing and perfect. We just have to make a conscious decision, activate our faith, and conform our will to his will. I believe with all my heart that when others realize this and stretch themselves not just by praying that it will happen, but that they take the initiative and do it, they give God the power, through their faith, to do above and immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine in Jesus Name. Here's what happened: My grandpa came down with this rare disease caused by food poisoning. According to the statistics given by the doctors, only 5% of anyone who gets this disease gets to the level of danger that my grandpa got to. And out of that 5% of people who got that bad, there was only a 30% chance of survival. That is just mind boggling. 12 bags of fluids went through my grandpa's system in one day; that's unheard of. My dad called me during our 21 days of prayer and fasting and I began to desperately call out to God for his healing, telling him that no matter what happens; His name will receive glory. I believe when you fast, your prayers are 3x more audible to God. I'm overjoyed to say that my grandpa is at home resting and eating healthy since last tuesday. His face is being slowly being restored (because of Bell's Palsy). All this done through the power of prayer and believing in God with all my faith. Praise God.
