reasons why i am in a shiny mood:
1. i finished chapter six of "the power of light." that's 11,296 words that i have in sequence right now. this is very exciting. also, i have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen in chapter seven, and i already have part of it written. yay!
2. i was playing "kingdom hearts" last night and i found a partial file that up to hollow bastion before the second riku fight. so i decided to play on that file. i soon discovered that i hadn't done atlantica on that file (because i have a certain adversion to atlantica), but i decided to be brave and do it. so i got to the first ursula battle, feeling a certain sense of doom because the first ursula battle=death of sora. but this time i actually listened to king triton and USED MAGIC on ursula's cauldron. i ended up defeating ursula on the first attempt. then i went to fight creepy giant ursula. i defeated her with no problem at all. so then i started feeling all shiny and decided to gummi-ship myself over to hollow bastion to fight against riku/ansem. and through some mad curing, aero-ing, ether-ing, and stabbing skills, i managed to beat him on my first attempt, which has never happened before (i remember my first time through the game i had to have shaylagh beat him for me!). then i was in an even shinier mood because i got to see all the awesome cutscenes that came after (and i got to hear "hikari - instrumental" in its context. so now whenever i hear it, i can picture what's going on). and i got to play as heartless!sora, which is really the most awesome part of the game because you're just running around as an ickle shadow heartless. so then, after i magically got transported to traverse town and dealt with business there, i decided to go to the coliseum and try out the hercules cup. i got to the final boss of that, hercules, and felt a sense of doom because hercules is a pain in the ass to beat. but guess what? i beat him first attempt too! but then i stopped playing shortly after because it was getting late. but that is very exciting. four boss battles that usually take me many attempts to do, and i did it all in one try!
3. my mom made pumpkin bread. yum!
4. no school tomorrow! *glee*

i hate having a plus account. but i need the extra userpics. i mean, look at the shiny-ness! *points to icon* my icon count is now 64. i made three jack/juliet icons yesterday. i also found a delightfully emo picture of zexion, so i made an icon of that. i think i'm going to do an icon showcase once i hit 100 icons.
whenever i was typing "hollow bastion" in the "reasons why i'm shiny" list, i always subconsciously thought "citadel of destiny." that is reason #82744 why i should change the name of the citadel of destiny. i used to always accidentally refer to things in "kingdom hearts" by their equivalents in my stories, but ever since i've changed names of people/places and de-kingdom-hearts-ified my writings, i haven't been doing it as much. but the citadel of destiny isn't even like hollow bastion anymore. there's no freaking citadel in it anymore. so i need a new name. (hey summer, do you wanna give me random keyboard typings again? that really helped last time.)
[EDIT: i'm on google right now and i noticed that the o's and the e's had army hats on them. so i thought to myself, "why are the google letters wearing funny hats?" and then i remembered, "oh yeah, it's veteran's day." don't look at me like that. i have dumb moments, okay?]
[EDIT #2: for some reason i want to write a blond kind-of-emo male character named leon. unfortunately, there is no room for such character in my immediate writings. note to self: make room for a blond kind-of-emo male character in later books. also, i almost forgot to watch the amazing race because i was too busy making an emo cloud icon.]
