the other night was pretty great. me and angela went on an adventure to the middle east in boston to see Q and not U. we were planning it for a couple days but she wasnt sure if she could go but things ended up working out and we went.
we headed to cambrigde to catch the red line in alewife. we made it right when the train doors were closing. we got to the middle east on time and waited in line for a few minutes.
we werent to sure about the two opening bands but they were equaly great. the first band on was La Mi Vida Violenta. they had two drummers in the band who faced each other while they were playing, one had his back to the crowd and was workin it like wow. the second band on was joan of arc. they put on a great show and worked the crowd, they pulled some random people on stage and had them play some tamberines and what not.
Then Q and not U finally made thier apperance on stage around 10:00. they were superb, but me and angela didnt see thier whole set because we had to catch the train. so all in all the nigth was great, every band was really good and put on a great show, it was deffinitly one of the best shows ive ever been too.
