* So, remember my stress from yesterday? Yeah, still didn't get my check from the credit union. *bites nails*
* But there was the season finale of Suits last night:
First and foremost: I'm wondering if we're going to come back next season and find out that Trevor told Jessica something less explosive than Mike-didn't-go-to-law-school. Maybe something like Mike having an affair with Rachel or even something he totally pulled out of his ass: something that would make Mike's life difficult, but not completely trash it. Trevor's a dick and a manipulative dick, but I don't think he's out-and-out that bad of a person.
Maybe I'm wrong, though, but I can't see a reason why Jessica would keep Mike around if she found out he didn't go to Harvard. I can see her quietly firing him (or just not keeping him on), and then fileting Harvey like a fish. Harvey's going to fight her on it, but unless he's got more dirt on her than he has ever shown he has, I don't know what leverage he can use that would equal something this egregious.
That aside:
DONNA IS THE AWESOME! Really, that's the main thing I came away with. I loved her taunting Louis and drinking with Rachel and arguing with Harvey and just being awesome, awesome Donna.
I don't know what it is about the can opener, but I like the idea that Mike somehow knows. Something.
I loved Harvey's dedication to getting this kid out. I loved him getting the kid to hit him so that he buys them a couple more days--but also that I think he just really, really needed the kid to hit him. I loved that he trusted Mike enough to leave him alone with the kid when Mike asked him to.
I loved Chi McBride as the new DA, and that last scene with him and Harvey.
I have to wait until next Summer for this to come back?! *sigh*
* One bit of news:
Russell Crows signs on to play Javert against Hugh Jackman's Jean Valjean. I am behind any movie with these two people in it.
* Rec of the Day:
Suits:
Barista--AU where Harvey is still Harvey and Mike is still Mike, but rather than using his powers for a life of petty crime and cheating, he is a barista instead. I surprised myself by how much I enjoyed this, and the final sex scene now ranks in my top ten. :-)
