Well, there's that
As I noted, I posted my Yuletide story yesterday, which I was quite happy about, and then I was thinking this morning about my author's note and that I might need to add something to it. So, I go to look at it, and realize that, hey, it's an earlier, not finished version of the story. As in, it ends in the middle of a scene that does not exist anymore.
I honestly have no idea how it happened, as I would have sworn I proofed and uploaded the whole thing before hitting post. But, after panicked scrabbling for the correct version and editing it more, all is fine.
And I've only gone back to check that it's really, truly, honestly the correct version twice today.
