* I had the realization of the reason why the trailers I've seen for Red Tails were bugging me: it looks exactly like a football movie. It's got fighter planes, but trust me, that's a sport movie. I like action movies, including war movies, but somehow telling me it's an important movie of an important story (the latter of which is certainly true) and turning it into a sport film, kind of rubs me in entirely the wrong way.
I do, however, like that it appears to NOT be a White People Lead and Save the Poor Brown People kind of movie.

* Universal to celebrate 100th anniversary with re-issues of non-shitty movies.
* Non-Yuletide Rec of the Day:
Inception: Kiss with a Fist--Hate-fuck turns into something else between Arthur and Eames. I admit, this presses one of my big kink buttons HARD.
* Yuletide Rec of the Day:
Avengers-movieverse: Decision Making Paradigms (if it seems like a good idea, it probably isn't)--"The one in which Clint needs to rethink life choices." Love the voices, like Clint-as-stalker (he's a sniper: it's kind of built-in!), and I LOVE the cameo from a different part of the Marvel-universe.
