Monday. Grr.
* I saw Drive yesterday. That was so very much NOT what I expected. It's a rather interesting, deliberately paced. It was really good, but heaven help anyone going in to see this and expecting a fast-paced heist film.
* Doctor Who and its season finale just also happened to be this weekend.
+ I had this head-slapping moment where I just went "Of COURSE that's what they were going to do! How did I miss that?!" the second before they revealed the Doctorbot. I loved it.
+ I loved Amy's "And I'm his...mother-in-law," moment at the end. AWESOME.
+ I love Rory. Always. Captain Williams.
+ I love that the Doctor is always awesome, and still a gigantic dork. Texting and scones!
+ I love that DW is one of those shows where the season doesn't always end up happy, it does wrap-up most of its loose ends: there is no cliffhanger of doom there.
Yet I still want to know what happens next.
* Not-a-remake-except-how-it-is: Warner Brothers looking to do another Twilight Zone movie. Not sure why you would call it TZ unless you're using one of the stories from the series, and not sure which one you would choose for a full-length movie. The directors they're looking at, though, make me want to wait-and-see.
* Utah theater fined for showing The Hangover Part II, with all its nudity and simulated monkey sex.
* Another Wyatt Earp movie. I have Tombstone and I have Sunset. I'm good, thanks.
* I have so many wonderful stories to read that came across on the weekend where I mostly slept! Avengers! Sherlock! Inception! Whee!
