What's This? 2 1/2 Years and Now I'm Back??
Hello all! It has been 2 1/2 years since I posted on here. June 23, 2007 was the last day I posted on here and I have decided to return for a fun filled time of new entries!
A TON of shit has happened in those 2 1/2 years. I graduated from Columbia in May of 09! So that was exciting. I quit Blockbuster twice since I last posted. Erin was going to leave Blockbuster and go to Starbucks in September of 07 but she didn't, but then took a promotion to District Manager in April 08 and I quit in May because Roxanne (a.k.a. the worst and dumbest manager ever to grace Blockbuster) took over the Tinley Park store. I worked at Toys R Us for about 2 or 3 weeks in May/June 08 and went back to Blockbuster at the end of June 08. I was promoted to shift leader in August 08. I then asked to transfer to another store in September 08 and Rich chose to ignore my plea. I then reported Roxanne to corporate. Everything I reported was 100% true, and yet Rich called me out on it and unethically yelled at me as if I did something wrong. I was then transferred out of the Tinley Park store (after being there for 5 1/2 years, only Kinjal had been there longer than me at that point) and went to Orland Park where I worked with Kim for 7 months before finally officially quitting in July 09. Since then I worked at Sears for 3 1/2 days and have had no other job since. I guess I really shouldn't have quit since I've been unemployed for over 6 months now and it really sucks. Since the unemployment I have decided to go back to school and get an English Education degree. I just started at Governor's State last week. I'm a little nervous about this, because I am starting an academic path that I haven't been on in years. So we'll see how this goes, I hope I can succeed at it without fucking up too much.
Other than that no much has happened since I stopped posting on here. It's fun to look back at the older entries, but seriously when I moved to MySpace in 06 and ultimately when I made the permanent move to Facebook in 07 I haven't posted journals like this. I miss this and it kind of sucks I have nothing to look back on from 07 until now so I will try my best to continue to post journals on here, mostly for myself since all of my friends no longer post on here. I noticed most people stopped posting on here in 2006, including me. I guess 2006 was the year of MySpace. Nobody even posts on MySpace anymore either, it's all about Facebook now. Which I am completely fine with.
