Went home this past weekend. Didn't get a chance to call any of the guys. Mom and Dad take up a lot of time. It was fun though.
Friday night we went to Hobbytown USA where Jason is working part-time to support his hobby habit. He gets paid in Hobby Bucks. Anyway, they were having RC car races. It was really fun. Jason has two cars that he races - one electric, one gas. It's pretty impressive. Those little cars can move! They have race announcers too. It's really crazy how seriously some of those guys take those races.
Saturday, Patrick, Jason, and Dad went golfing while Mom and I drove to Rogersville to see my old roommate, Carrie. She had her first baby last month, and I wanted to go see her. She had a baby girl she named Phoebe. She's a really pretty baby, but I'm just not good with babies.
We spent the rest of the day at home playing beanbags in the yard and racing Dad's RC Mini Cooper that Jason bought him for Christmas. More Hobby Bucks.
Sunday we headed up to Monte Sano for a picnic and to check out the camping facilities for the first Dunham reunion. So next Memorial Day, no FL trip.
I'm really looking forward to our 4th of July trip to FL. Patrick wants to take the jet skis, but I think they'll be more trouble than they're worth. We'll see. I'm just looking forward to more time in the sun and more time with good friends.
