(no subject)
I'm in NJ right now for some training, and I'm having a blast! I'm a little sad that I have to go home tomorrow. I got to spend a whole week up here, getting pampered, and all I had to do was sit in a class for a few hours a day. The company has paid for everything, including lots of drinks.
Monday night we went out for sushi. I love introducing people to the wonderful world of raw fish. HA!! Had a few drinks then went to bed.
Tuesday night was the best! We took the train into NYC and walked to Times Square. It was wonderful! We looked like a big group of tourists just gawking at everything. Then we ate at the Carnegie Deli. It's supposed to be a famous sandwich shop. Those were the largest sandwiches I've ever seen!
Wednesday night we went to a Brazilian BBQ place. I've never eaten so much meat between this place and Carnegie Deli in my life! But they served us the best Sangrias I've ever had. They went down a little too smooth. After that, we went to the bar in the hotel and had a few more drinks. These guys are a lot of fun to hang out with.
Tonight was dinner with the National VP of Education for the company. She was really cool, too. She kept making fun of my southern accent, and I made fun of her Jersey accent, and we got along great. More drinks....I've drunk more this week than I did all last year I think.
Anyway, flying home tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have time to get my Derek Jeter jersey. Looking forward to seeing some of the guys this weekend too. Hopefully they'll understand if I'm a little pooped.
