i went on an interview today. the firm is in norristown and it probably takes an hour to get there, but i really liked the firm and they seemed to be pretty positive that they would be able to hire me for the summer. they do a bunch of sustainability stuff and historic preservation work, which is cool. hope this works out...
the bike race yesterday was awesome. first time i ever went to a real life actual race. We sorta wandered around manayunk seeing the laps pass from different parts of the course. It was really sweet to see the pros flying up the wall. thats gonna be me some day.... ha!
It was really cool though. i got some good pictures. I can't wait to see the giro next spring.
on saturday i rode back from the biek shop in harleysville. I got lost twice and ended up riding an extra 20-25 miles, which were really hilly, so i didn't end up making it the whole way home. the total ride was 60 miles before i climbed off and gave up. If i hadn't gotten lost i would have made it the whole way home. next time i will for sure. we tried to make some fit adjustments at the shop to keep my toes from going numb, but it didn't really help, so i may have to get new shoes. I can't really think about it until i get a job, then i will have all sorts of shit to buy, haha.
