so i had jury on monday, it went ok. some of the comments weren't really helpful or at least it seemed that way at first, but then i talked to james about it and he told me to view the comments as a way of impoving my presentation so that i am more firm about what my project actually entails. i think all the rendering i did for the jury fried my hard drive, because now i have no access to my music or tv shows or movies, which is pretty scary. if it is impossible to recover that shit, i will be out nearly 100 GB worth of stuff. Hopefully i can get the music back from the iPod, so that eliminates like 46 GB worth of worry, but still i'm pretty nervous about how this will turn out. Josh is doing some research on what we can do to fix it, and Alex wants me to hold out so that he can play with it after we move into our house in a month. The question is whether or not i can hold out with no downloading for a month. though it would be worth it if i can recover everything.

i need to put together a 2-3 page sample of my work to send prospective employers. soon. i redid my resume. i think its as up to par as its going to get at this point. now i just have to sift through my work to figure out what to put on it. Seems like it may be hard with no explanation.
