OH MY FUCK-SPRING BREAK FROM HELL!!!
Ok, so here is my story. You know how I had strep? Well, I had that, but the reason why I wasn't really getting any better is because I had an abcess on my left tonsil. I went to the doc-in-the-box here and they told me that. So they told me it didn't look big enough to get it removed and that hopefully with a shot of penecillan and a shot of steroids, in my ass mind you, that it would get better. That night I felt better, I could actually swallow, but the swelling was still there. So I went in the next day, bc they guy the day before told me to, and the new guy said it wasn't getting any better. So I went to the Ear, Nose, and Throat guy. He had to drain my abcess. For those of you who don't know what an abcess is, it is a gigantic thing of puss almost in my tonsil. Sick ass, huh? That procedure was one of the most scary things I have ever done in my life. You should have seen all of the puss he took out with the needle. Ick. Anyway, I couldn't swallow water still after that, or even my medication, which was liquid, and my throat looked even bigger, so I had to go to the hospital to get an IV for the night to hydrate me and to get anitbiotics into me. So that happened. Decently freaky. I had to get a cat scan, which wasn't bad--it wasn't one of the really scary ones or anything. I found out that my abcess was still there--AND IT WAS FUCKING TWO INCHES HIGH BY ONE INCH WIDE!!! Even after he drained part of it. WTF?!?! Why do I always get the really weird shit? So I had to have surgery to drain it, and while they were they they just took out my tonsils. I just got home about 20 minutes ago. Two nights in the hospital with three really good things: 1)Morphine, though it doesn't last too long, it is still fun, 2)The Sucky Thing-this is the thing that is on at all times and you suck all of your saliva out and other gunk that is in your mouth. That thing is fuckin fantasitic, 3)Morgan got me a magna-doodle so I could communicate easily! It was awesome!! She knew exactly what I needed. Thank you to her. That is my story of spring break so far and I still have two papers to do. Ugh. See you all back at school probably not until late next week.
